Quiet island camping on the scenic Maine coast. Located Down East on Deer Isle, experience Island life, nature preserves, the historic Stonington lobster port. Easy access to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Spend your next camping trip on the Maine coast with abundant access to outdoor activities.

Choose from spacious wooded campsites or wide open spaces with a clear view of the stars. We are the only campground on the island with full hookups. Any type of camper can be accommodated, ranging from primitive sites to 50 amp hookups.

On-site amenities include a clean bath house with free hot showers, a pickleball court and paved roads for easy walks. All sites offer a picnic table and a fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase and will be delivered directly to your campsite. We also have lobster pots and games available for your enjoyment.

Upon request, we offer a “Park ‘n Paddle” shuttle service for kayakers to leave their vehicles at the campground while exploring the archipelago islands around Stonington. This service includes pick-up and drop-off at launch sites.

As an additional treat, Woodstock Meadow is located on the property, which is a large, open field where you can experience memorable sunrises, sunsets and star-filled skies.

Greenlaw’s RV Park & Campground is located approximately 2.5 miles from Stonington Harbor, the largest lobstering port in the state of Maine, known to have the best lobster in the world. You can buy your lobsters — fresh off the boat — at the Stonington dock, borrow a lobster pot from us, and have your own Down East Feast at your site! We are also happy to recommend where you can buy already-steamed lobsters as well as pre-packaged lobster roll kits.

For a relaxing outdoor activity, take your pick of beautiful Sand Beach’s rocky shoreline or explore Crockett Cove Wood Preserve – both of them are 1.7 miles away.

Make sure to have your picture taken with our friendly park bear, Nigel Brown the Black Bear, an intriguing wooden sculpture created by local artist Peter Beerits. Nigel will greet you at the entrance when you first pull into the park!
